I am very allergic to dissolving sutures and surgical glue. I asked about sculptra and threads and everyone keeps saying it’s fine and safe. But hearing how it actually works and that it’s similar to sutures, I’m glad I decided to pass. I suspect I would react poorly.

Do not have blind trust in the competency of any Dr or nurse. A lot of people in the medical field in America are not that bright. I recently went to get cheek filler and I asked her to mark on my face and show me exactly what she was going to do. It was not what I needed and it didn’t make sense so I declined at the last minute. Always go with your gut if something does not feel right.

This was super helpful. I have heard for years people tell me about my face and I didn’t realize how bad it was until I was given a candid photo of myself. I looked very unapproachable and angry. I really do not want to come off like that to anyone. I don’t have to money for surgical correction so for now I’ll be careful to be conscious of my facial expressions. Don’t do it!! I had a gliding eye brow lift 2023 and I am still recovering!! The half of your scalp is numb and itches like crazy when healing! My forehead still kinda numb. On my right mid center of my eyebrow there’s a retraction of my skin . It looks like a scar. Surgeon can’t fix it!! I wish I knew more of this procedure before doing it. My forehead is now worse than before.
